The ideal CAM1 Camera Operator will be an expert in color matching, ISO settings, and the configuration of multi-camera shoots. A CAM1 is responsible for setting up and operating HD broadcast-style camera systems (ie Sony HXC-100), triax, and remote CCUs. A CAM1 should also be able to run IMAG (shoulder-mount or tripod-mount) for sensitive corporate events and record to SD cards or external recorders (ie AJA Ki Pro).
